Setting Up the Authenticator Extension in Chrome

👉Install the Authenticator Extension

• Open Chrome.
• Go to the Chrome Web Store: Visit https://chromewebstore.google.com
• Search for "Authenticator": Look for the Authenticator extension.

• Add to Chrome: Click "Add to Chrome" and then "Add Extension."

👉 When you first install Authenticator Extension in Chrome, you should pin its icon to the toolbar.

👉 Add a QR Code

1. Click Authenticator Extension’s icon in your browser
2. Click the scan icon at the top right corner of the window.
   
3. Click and drag to draw a square that completely covers your QR code (like the one you saw in Mimecast). If the QR code disappears, simply return to the login screen to try again.

4. After the new account is added, you will see a new entry in the window.

👉 The 6-digit number is your current one-time password, the circle at bottom right corner tells you how much time is left for the current password. If you want to add this account into a mobile app, you can click the QR icon at the top right corner of the entry to show the QR code for this account.
